The winch is a recovery tool rather than a replacement for careful driving. It can rescue a bad attempt, but avoiding the problem will usually save more time.

Upgrades should solve actual weaknesses. If the truck loses traction on every climb, prioritize the wheels. If it bounces excessively and becomes unstable on rough ground, improve the suspension before purchasing less urgent parts.

Drive slowly during your first attempt. Learning how the truck reacts to mud, hills, and ruts is more important than completing the route quickly.

Approach steep climbs in a straight line. Turning sharply on a slope can reduce traction and increase the risk of rolling over.

Keep the wheels on firm ground whenever possible. Deep tracks may appear to follow the route, but driving beside them can sometimes provide better grip.

Avoid sudden steering inputs. Heavy vehicles need smooth corrections, especially when the suspension is already moving over uneven terrain.

Build momentum before climbing, but do not charge at the hill at full speed. Excessive speed can make the truck bounce, lose contact with the ground, or flip backward.

Collect accessible coins first. Do not place the entire run at risk for a coin positioned near a dangerous edge.

Use the winch before the situation becomes worse. If the wheels cannot find traction, recovery is often safer than repeatedly accelerating.

Read the terrain several meters ahead. Dark mud, deep ruts, sharp ridges, and angled surfaces require different approaches. Planning early prevents last-second steering corrections.

Cross ruts at a slight angle. Driving directly into a deep channel can trap both wheels, while approaching diagonally allows them to enter one at a time.

Manage the vehicle’s center of gravity. Avoid turning across a steep side slope. When possible, point uphill or downhill to keep the truck more stable.

Use reverse as a recovery technique. If a climb fails, back down carefully, select a better line, and attempt it again with controlled momentum.

Upgrade progressively instead of buying parts at random. Invest first in the component that limits your current performance, then strengthen the rest of the vehicle as routes become more demanding.
