Revolution Idle

Revolution Idle is primarily controlled with the mouse:

• Left-click a circle’s upgrade button to purchase one level.
• Click the available buy-mode option to change how many levels are purchased at once.
• Left-click an ascension button when a circle reaches the required condition.
• Select the Prestige or Promotion panel to review the rewards for resetting.
• Click different tabs to access Infinity, Eternity, achievements, statistics, automation, and other unlocked systems.
• Use the mouse wheel to scroll through menus containing additional upgrades.
• Hover over buttons, currencies, and effects to read their descriptions.

The circles rotate and generate resources automatically. You do not need to click a circle repeatedly to produce every point. Your main role is to purchase upgrades, configure automation, evaluate reset rewards, and decide which progression target to pursue next.

The colored circles form the foundation of Revolution Idle. Completing laps increases production, while circle upgrades improve speed and multiplier growth. Because the multipliers interact, a balanced set of productive circles can raise your score much faster than a single overdeveloped color.

Prestige is the first major reset decision. It becomes available after reaching the necessary Score threshold and improves two important values:

• P.Mult directly strengthens the combined multiplier.
• P.Exponent changes the exponential scaling applied to production.

A weak Prestige reward may not justify losing the current run. A meaningful increase, however, can make the rebuilding phase much faster. During the early game, reaching approximately a ×10 P.Mult for the first Prestige is a useful target.

Infinity and Eternity should be viewed as new chapters rather than ordinary upgrades. They reset more progress but introduce entirely new systems that eventually outperform the previous production methods.

Upgrade the red circle immediately. More speed produces additional revolutions, and more revolutions lead to faster early Score growth.

Unlock new colors when they become reasonably affordable. A new multiplier can have a greater effect on total production than repeatedly upgrading an older circle.

Use Max Buy carefully. It is convenient for rebuilding, but spending everything on one color can delay another important unlock.

Pay attention to ascension opportunities. When a circle reaches its maximum normal level, ascending it can provide stronger long-term growth and may also complete an achievement.

Do not Prestige the moment the button appears. Review the projected P.Mult and P.Exponent changes first. Your first reset should provide enough improvement to make rebuilding noticeably faster.

Check achievements regularly. Achievements are not merely decorative; their requirements can point you toward useful mechanics and progression milestones.

Read the tooltips. Revolution Idle contains several currencies and multipliers with similar-looking numbers. A short tooltip can explain whether an upgrade affects one circle, all circles, or an entire reset layer.

Allow the game to run when active input is unnecessary. The circles produce automatically, so waiting for the next affordable upgrade is sometimes more efficient than changing your strategy repeatedly.

Measure progress by the time required to reach important milestones. If each Prestige reaches the previous stopping point much faster, the reset cycle is working. If a reset offers only a tiny improvement and requires a long rebuild, extend the current run before resetting again.

Identify the active bottleneck. In the early game, this may be circle speed or the cost of the next color. Later, it could be Prestige scaling, Promotion experience, an Infinity upgrade, a challenge requirement, or insufficient automation.

Balance Prestige multiplier gains with exponent gains. Direct multipliers produce an immediate increase, while improvements to the exponent become extremely powerful as the product of your circle multipliers grows.

Plan Promotions around the statistic currently restricting progress. Different Promotion options support areas such as multiplier gain, revolution speed, or ascension power. Choose upgrades that shorten the path to your next major unlock instead of distributing bonuses without a goal.

Configure automation gradually. Begin with reliable purchases that you would always make manually. Add automated Prestige or higher-level resets only after you understand the reward thresholds. An overly aggressive reset condition can repeatedly end runs before they produce meaningful gains.

Treat challenges as optimization problems. A challenge may restrict a familiar production method or modify an important formula. Reconfigure upgrades and automation for the challenge rather than using your normal setup unchanged.

Before a large reset, inspect nearby milestones. Waiting a little longer may secure an achievement, permanent upgrade, additional currency, or automation feature that survives the reset and substantially improves the next run.

Use Time Flux when it helps cross a valuable breakpoint. Spending accumulated time only to buy several minor levels is less effective than using it to reach a new circle, reset layer, milestone, or major upgrade.
