Idle Dice

Idle Dice uses mouse controls and a small selection of convenient keyboard shortcuts.

Use the Prestige shortcut carefully. Depending on the browser version, pressing P may activate the reset without an additional confirmation prompt.

Most of the game can be played with the mouse. The keyboard shortcuts become more helpful when upgrades are inexpensive and need to be purchased frequently.

Idle Dice contains several connected systems. Each one strengthens a different part of your income engine.

The systems are multiplicative rather than purely additive. A card bonus can strengthen a die, which then benefits from a combo multiplier and the global prestige bonus.

This interaction is why careful investment becomes more valuable than simply buying the cheapest option on the screen.

Roll manually until Auto Roll becomes available. Automation is an important early milestone because it generates points while you review upgrades and menus.

Increase the first die’s multiplier, but do not spend indefinitely on it. Unlocking another die creates a new source of points and introduces more opportunities for combinations.

Use the Buy 10, Buy 100, or Buy All options after your income begins growing quickly. Purchasing one level at a time becomes inefficient once upgrade costs are small compared with each roll.

Keep individual dice at reasonably useful multipliers. A newly purchased die contributes little if it remains far weaker than the rest of the set.

Upgrade combination bonuses after several dice are active. Combo improvements have limited value with one die but become increasingly powerful as more simultaneous results are available.

Do not prestige immediately after the option appears. First check the potential multiplier and decide whether the next run will be noticeably faster.

Watch for changes in number color or prestige information. The interface can help indicate whether the available reset will produce a meaningful increase.

The strongest growth comes from stacking bonuses that multiply one another. Dice levels, combo rewards, cards, multiplier dice, roulette bonuses, and prestige should be treated as parts of the same system.

Focus income on the die that contributes most strongly to your current build, but keep the remaining dice productive enough to support combinations.

Ascension is important because it leads into the card system. Cards can improve individual dice, all dice, combinations, rolling speed, card progression, and other mechanics. The value of a card therefore depends on which stage of the game you are currently trying to accelerate.

A useful decision order is:

1. Maintain automatic rolling.
2. Purchase inexpensive multiplier improvements.
3. Unlock the next regular or multiplier die.
4. Strengthen combo rewards when multiple dice are active.
5. Ascend dice when further conventional upgrades offer poor value.
6. Draw cards that support the current bottleneck.
7. Prestige when the new multiplier justifies rebuilding.
8. Develop cards into decks and permanent progression systems.

Do not expect every prestige run to perform identically. Different card draws can make one run especially strong for combos while another favors a particular die or faster rolling.

Roulette should support your wider objective. Choose a focus or bonus that helps the system currently limiting progression instead of spending chips without a plan.

A practical early prestige target is a reward that approximately doubles your existing earning power. This is a guideline rather than a strict rule. A smaller reset can still be worthwhile when card progression has stalled or the current run has become extremely slow.

Later, card decks and gilding provide benefits that survive more progression layers. Before committing to a major reset, review what will be lost and which permanent rewards will remain.
