Idle Toy Factories is controlled primarily with the mouse.

The game does not require movement keys or complicated combinations. Once managers are hired, most production lines continue operating automatically while you concentrate on upgrades and expansion.

Every product follows a simple process, but the cost and profit increase as you unlock more advanced toys.

The factory runs most efficiently when every valuable product has a manager. Without one, a production line remains inactive until you manually start another cycle.

Upgrades determine how much each completed batch earns. However, the most expensive product is not always the best immediate investment. A cheaper toy with fast cycles and several upgrades may produce useful income while you save for a major unlock.

Begin by repeatedly producing rubber ducks. Use the first few payments to upgrade their selling value instead of saving every coin for an expensive unlock.

Hire your first manager as soon as the cost becomes reasonable. Automation is one of the most important milestones because the production line will no longer require a click after every batch.

Continue upgrading the first toy while saving toward the next product. Avoid spending all your money immediately before reaching an important unlock. Maintaining a reserve can help you open a new toy sooner.

When a new product becomes available, start its production and compare its earnings with those of your existing lines. Prioritize the line that offers the best improvement relative to its upgrade cost.

Use the navigation arrows regularly. Later toys may be located on another screen, making them easy to overlook if you remain focused on the original production area.

Check achievements and upgrade menus whenever progress slows. A completed objective or available bonus may provide the boost needed to reach the next stage.

Evaluate upgrades by how quickly they recover their cost. If an improvement costs far more than the additional income it provides, saving for a new product or manager may be more efficient.

Automate your strongest production lines first. Expensive toys often create the greatest income, so leaving one inactive can cost more than temporarily delaying a smaller upgrade.

Do not judge a product only by the value of one completed batch. Production time matters as well. A fast line can complete several cycles while a slower toy is still manufacturing its first batch.

As your company grows, divide investments among three goals:

• Immediate income: Upgrade products that can quickly repay their cost.
• Automation: Hire managers to remove manual production clicks.
• Expansion: Save for toys and business systems that create a major increase in earning potential.

Prestige is most useful when normal progress has become slow. Activating it too early may sacrifice a productive business for a weak bonus. Waiting too long, however, means missing the advantage that permanent multipliers can provide during future runs.

Before using prestige, check the size of the expected bonus. A reset is generally worthwhile when the new multiplier will let you rebuild the early factory much faster than before.

After prestiging, concentrate on your previous milestones instead of distributing money evenly. Automate the early toys quickly, unlock the proven high-value products, and use the new bonus to return to your former position in less time.
